About Battery Recycling Solutions (BRS)

We extract critical materials from end-of-life batteries or production scrap. Our goal is to bring valuable elements back into the battery supply chain. What you will be doing

The BRS business is growing at high pace and to enable this exponential growth, as Business Development Manager you will within the business team of BRS promote, negotiate, develop and sell BRS recycling services with a focus on OEMs in Europe.
Production scrap from battery pack assembly and end of life batteries generated or collected by OEMs will be an important part of the feed for BRS to develop its recycling technology and build out its position in the market.
You manage offers including tenders and negotiate recycling contracts for rechargeable batteries (electric cars, bicycles, mobile phones, etc.) You further develop your client portfolio by finding new business opportunities. You work together with local agents and implement BU’s strategies in defined geographical area. You actively follow the latest developments, collect market information and transform these data into compelling recycling solutions now and for the future. You maintain and develop long term client relations. You provide business and technical support to our customers. You negotiate long term commitments and strategic partnerships.
Main Responsibilities:

Maintain relations, prepare offers incl. tender and negotiate recycling contracts with OEMs
Follow up on deliveries, volumes, quality of deliveries, forecast intel
Develop new accounts, regions or recycling services (new scrap, new setup)
Visits to customers, represent BRS at fairs and present on conferences
Manage back office, directly or indirectly, to ensure smooth execution of contracts and optimum service to clients
Works closely with the other commercial managers and can temporarily step in when needed

We are looking for

Master degree or equivalent
Languages: English & German, other languages are an asset
Relevant working experience, preferably in a commercial position, of 5 years
Affinity to technical and/or operational / logistic issues is an asset
Analytical skills
Organizer, good time management
Ability to be persistent and systematic
Good negotiator
