Job Purpose / Role
As a member of Allianz Group, Allianz Global Benefits specializes in arranging and packaging local Employee Benefits insurance solutions into global programs and operates a worldwide network of insurers in a large number of countries. These solutions are provided to multinational corporations and global brokers and encompasses the full range of corporate protection and pension products and services available within the network. Headquartered in Stuttgart, Germany, it has on-site experts based in regional Allianz offices across multiple continents.
The Business Intelligence Manager will be part of the Finance & Data team and will focus on the tasks of data analysis, standardization and reporting towards sales, clients and brokers as well as to define and translate business requirements into reporting requirements and needs for the related IT infrastructure.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for all operations related to reporting of International Employee Benefits plans.
Define, further improve and perform the client reporting for International Employee Benefits programs such as Pooling, Captive and Global Underwriting in alignment with Digital Solutions & Project team and in close collaboration with the data collection team and the Sales department.
Collaborate with main stakeholders to understand business needs and requirements to continuously improve quality standards.
Optimize and automate existing tools.
Ensure and drive a smooth working relationship with stakeholders such as e.g. Allianz Reinsurance Accounting team.
Deliver and support our Digital Health partners with the required data to ensure the state-of-the-art reports is generated through our digital platform.
Define and align necessary business requirements to ensure the timely production of the reports.
Key Requirements/Skills/Experience
Qualifications:
University degree in Economics or Mathematics and/or professional qualification
Mastery of SQL, database structures, and MS Office products (Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook) including expertise in Excel macros and graphs
Knowledge of procedures of data mapping, standardization and quality checks
Extensive knowledge of MicroStrategy/Power BI and Oracle Databases
Fluent in English; other languages are an advantage
Experience:
Ideally 1-3 years relevant job experience as data analyst or reporting expert
Highly organized and motivated self-starter with strong entrepreneurial thinking, who can deliver results with minimal direction
A solid blend of both business with proven (hands-on) experience in delivering end-to-end solutions (e.g. state-of-the-art reporting).
Proven analytical and number skills with a proven track record of delivering results and the ability to deliver results clearly to a wide array of recipients
Capable to prioritize and work well under pressure while strongly engage with others to achieve joint goals
Ability to quickly grasp team needs and offer concrete suggestions above and beyond what they are asking for
Naturally curious individual with the ability to adopt quickly in the various data and systems used by the team
Understanding of Employee Benefits Solutions would be an asset, ideally at an international level
Excellent communication skills
Attention to details while understanding the big picture
