Component Engineer – Battery Management Systems f/m/d

In the area of Electrics and Electronics (DE), we are looking for personalities who are looking for a challenge in the area of electrification and are encouraged in their tasks to advance the area of E/E together with us. We place great importance on developing as a team and having fun at work in addition to the daily tasks.

Assume component responsibility for the Battery Management System in battery development projects or other overall development projects.
Interface function between battery development team, customer and external hardware supplier
Management of the supplier during ECU development (HW&SW)
Internal and external reporting of project progress and progress of problem handling in case of occurring errors during commissioning
Definition of measures and assumption of coordination in case of occurring deviations
Definition of HW architecture and responsible for system integration
Definition and coordination of hardware requirements with the customer, internal and external development partners
Responsible for the compliance of development processes on ECU level according to internal specifications, ISO 26262 and ASPICE in series development and R&D projects
Close collaboration with system, testing and electrical – development during the entire project duration and during the DV/PV of the battery
Coordinate and align with software development team for function implementation and maturity alignment

Completed studies University/FH in the field of electrical engineering or mechatronics.
Several years of professional experience (>5 years) in automotive environment preferred, ideally OEM or Tier 1 in ECU or HV battery system development
Independent, systematic and structured way of working
Good communication, organizational and teamwork skills
Very good English skills and enthusiasm for international cooperation

Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: EUR61.000,00. We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
