Patheon Regensburg is a cGMP production site, focused on custom manufacturing of investigational materials for pre-clinical and clinical studies. The size of the site offers a familiar, friendly and collegiate atmosphere that specializes in the combined strengths of high-end R&D and production.
For the support of our Team in Regensburg we are looking for a
Deputy Plant Manager (m/f/d)
A Day in the Life:
You will be responsible for the safe, timely and successful execution of chemical processes in Regensburg’s Pilot Plant
You will report to the Manufacturing Manager
Planning of pilot plant production in a most efficient way following highest standards of quality (cGMP, ISO) and safety (EHS)
(Co-)Preparation of scale-up documentation (e.g. master batch records, cleaning protocols, safety assessments)
Participation in continuous improvement and investment projects (planning and execution)
Keys to Success:
Education
Academic degree (preferrably PhD) in organic chemistry, chemical engineering, or related field
Alternatively, someone with a technical background (e.g. Industriemeister Chemie) and several years of experience in manufacturing operations within a CDMO environment
Experience:
Multi-year experience in the chemical service business, preferably in a CDMO environment
Experience in thermal process safety and scale-up
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
Professional proficiency in German and English (written and spoken)
