Job Description
We are looking for you to support our area Autonomous Central Functions at the location Wetzlar.
Your tasks will focus on the following activities:
Lead the development of future System on Chip (SoC) requirements by considering new technology capabilities
Develop and drive SoC roadmap and strategy for future x-domain HPC to ensure high software and hardware re-use
Develop and drive suppliers and partnerships to enable partners towards our requirements
Providing to our BU’s comprehensive overview about existing and planned SoC’s
Drive cross BA standardization of SoC’s
Development of Benchmark methods to get a good prediction about the application performance of a certain SoC
Supporting the projects on technical issues with the SoC’s
Drive make or buy decision on future SoC’s
Job Requirements
Master in Electrical Engineering or related fields
Excellent knowledge about SoC market, architecture and requirements
Outstanding work experience in embedded hardware, software development and dealing with various SoCs / microprocessors
Excellent understanding of SoC architecture, identification of performance bottlenecks
Hands-on experience on embedded software development, benchmarking and debugging
Good experience with ARM Cores, RISC-V
Hands on experience with SDKs, BSP, firmware, compilers
Experience with Python, Tcl, Shell and/or Perl, C/C++, System C
Good understanding about memory technologies and requirements
High experience about functional safety, security requirements
Hands-on experience on electronic hardware design
Excellent English skills (written and spoken), further language skills are an advantage
Strong communication skills, cross functional, cross BA
