Tasks
Support for the strategy at Porsche Financial Services Japan (PFSJ) and management of business objectives in line with the PAG, local importer and PFS Group strategy as well as the strategies of Porsche the control department perspective
Responsible for the strategic and operational planning and controlling processes with the aim of supporting sales and profit, while managing the risks inherent to the financial services business from the accounting perspective
Oversee all day-to-day accounting processes, ensuring that proper books of accounts are maintained for effective financial control
Manage the financial reporting to PAG (PURe) PFS Group and VW (VoKUs)
Responsible for the preparation of journal entries including adjustments for month-end and year-end
Responsible for all requirements for external financial reporting at PFSJ in line with IFRS, JGAAP, and PAG/ VW Group Accounting Standards
Manage the preparation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS and JGAAP as well as for tax purposes
Support for the refinancing strategy and programs at PFSJ
Support MD for develop digital roadmap based on market trend and define the direction of digitalization project implementation in term of financial services process
Support liquidity requirements are met through term matched refinancing sources mitigating interest rate risk including the continuous optimization of the refinancing structures and funding conditions

Qualifications
Degree in Economics
>10 years of accounting work experience (JGAAP, IFRS, Tax treatment), ideally have CPA
Leadership experience of >3 years
Very strong Accounting skills
Very strong experience with SAP/R3 and MS Office
Good computer skills required
Very strong IFRS accounting skills required
Strong Japanese tax knowledge
Strong knowledge of the financial services and banking business in the automotive sector including asset securitization process for the structuring of refinancing facilities
Strong expertise in risk management, controlling, accounting, and securitization
Strong analytical, structuring, and conceptual skills
Strong ability to execute/ implement
Strong communication skills
Very pronounced conflict resolution skills
Very pronounced confidentiality required
Fluent spoken and written Japanese and English, preferred in addition German
