Proof of the strong international focus lies in the fact that the 20 subsidiaries worldwide currently account for over 50% of the company’s turnover. Our client has been active in the US since 1970. The Americas‘ HQ in Rhode Island includes its own production facility («Made in the US») and currently has more than 200 employees. General Manager (m/f/d) Sales and Marketing – USA
Tasks
Full responsibility for sales, marketing, service, and product management
Provide dynamic and positive leadership to the team (approx. 65 employees)
Development and implementation of the sales and marketing strategy in the US for a continuing profitable growth
Growing the market share of the current business with focus on the major target industries like automotive, machine building, aerospace and medical
Personally manage and further deepen the business relations to the most important Key Accounts
Definition of key sales KPI & metrics
Direct reporting to the CEO and dotted line to the German HQ
Requirements
Technical degree or degree in Business Administration with sound technical understanding
Long-term experience in sales and key account management
Leadership experience at an industrial company in the US
Good knowledge in the field of metrology, measurement technology or other highly technical products and systems (e.g. sensors, automation)
Customer-focused character with excellent communication skills
Entrepreneurial, result driven personality with conceptual strength and a general understanding of P&L
Trustworthy personality living in the region
