Global Commodity Manager Electronics (f/m/d)

This appeals to you
Define commodity strategy and implementation plan and work with global procurement teams
Create alignment and full commitment with stakeholders, such as R&D, production, and quality departments on all levels within the company for commodity strategy
Analyze relevant procurement markets, technology trends, the performance of existing suppliers, cost developments, and procurement risks at regular intervals and derive action plans
You lead interdisciplinary project teams and are responsible for the fulfillment of the project goals
Lead supplier communications, including sourcing event invitations, issue resolution, pricing terms negotiations, and contracting.
Manage the major supplier accounts within the electronics category
Maintain supplier relations through periodic meetings and management reviews, audits, and site meetings
Support escalations towards suppliers on request of the local buyers
Responsible for Approved Vendor List (AVL) management within the electronics category
This is you
A bachelor’s degree in the electronic engineering field is required. An advanced business degree is preferred
8 plus years of purchasing experience, preferably in related industries and in a global setting
Proven experience as a category manager or similar role
An analytical mind with a strategic ability
Able to influence people with excellent communication skills in English and German
Entrepreneurial mindse
