Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible to select, develop and implement the instruments portfolio from the professional/ medical perspective, with the objective to provide the best tools & systems for eyecare professionals. The ultimate goal of the team and the candidate is to improve the experience at the practice level in all steps of the Customer Journey, from vision examination to selection and fitting of the best therapeutical solutions; furthermore, helping HOYA customers to improve their efficiency is of capital importance.

Main responsibilities
Instruments Management
Define the required features of the instruments portfolio.
Lead the development/co-development of the chosen solution, both hardware and software.
Ensure the connectivity between new and existing equipment to enable a smooth operation at the practice level.
Work closely with project sponsor and/or team members, from plan development to final completion and deliver projects on-time and within budget.
Select the best development partners.
Define and monitor Supply chain per equipment.
Stablish the support and maintenance procedures for every newly introduced system.

Sytems Implementation
Support offer and work closely with the countries to implement the instruments portfolio.
Ensure that the knowledge among the local responsible about the tools & systems is good to install, promote and provide service and maintenance.
Monitor the implementation of the systems based on yearly forecast, KPI’s and ROI.
Collect best practices and share within the regions.
Monitor competitors‘ actions within the region and share among the organization.

Your Profile
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Experience working Internationally.
Strategic thinking.
Fluent verbal and written English.
Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple functions.
Excellent organizational and coordination skills.
Highly proactive and able to work successfully alone as well as within a team to predetermined objectives.

Qualifications and Experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Project Management, with Project Management Certificate.
Experience in Optical Instruments management, especially in the eye examination and vision test area.
IT savvy.
Advanced user in MS Office tools, and collaborative apps as a plus.

Work Environment
Office/ home-based.
Regular regional/global international travel.
Location: Worldwide, Preferably Amsterdam / Mönchengladbach.
