Global Key Account Manager and Head of Technical Customer Support (m/f/d)

The position holder will be responsible for achieving the sales objectives for the Key Accounts according to the sales plan and strategy, as well as managing the Technical Customer Support Team. A crucial part of the role will be to ensure the flow of needed information through interfaces with the customer and internal functions such as Sales, Quality Assurance, Production, R&D, and Marketing.
Major Responsibilities:

Full commercial responsible for several Key Accounts, which includes leading the Key Account Team
Cooperation in establishing a short-, medium- and strategic sales plan (prices, volumes, and other commercial terms) incl. preparation of action planes for each customer in accordance with sales and profit targets
Meeting sales objectives, detecting and contributing to new business development opportunities
Monitoring of market trends including competitive landscape, customer trends, and overall demand development
Cooperation with the market intelligence team in analyzing the worldwide tobacco market, with the aim to optimize the strategy toward customers and to contribute to Cerdia’s marketing strategy
Close collaboration with the finance department to support relevant internal processes

Technical Customer Support (TCS)
Leads the TCS team and supports the TCS activities, such as on-site technical support for filter making, sampling, complaint handling, training, seminars, etc.
Coordinate Customer Support activities worldwide in the frame of the sales function
Foster the development and improvement of tools and materials such as Customer product application software, brochures, presentations, etc.
Network amongst suppliers of the tobacco industry
Contribute to the preparation and execution of major customer events such as participation in international exhibitions

Qualifications & Experience:

The ideal candidate has a strong technical background (Engineering or Manufacturing) combined with multiple years of experience in commercial/global Key Account Management.
Further requirements:
Fluent in German and English
Strong in managing/interacting with customer
International and Leadership experience
Team player with hands-on mentality and strong communication skills
