The Chair of IT security (Professor Joachim Posegga) at the University of
Passau invites applications for the position of
Graduate Teaching and Research Assistant
starting on 1 January 2023. This is a full-time position, based on a
limited-term contract valid for one year with the option of renewal.

Your responsibilities
* Conduct research on current topics in IT security
* Carry out curricular teaching at the Master’s and Bachelor’s
level
* Assist with the conception of new research projects on IT security
* Opportunity for independent research leading towards a doctoral
thesis
Personal requirements
* Excellent university degree (Master of Science or comparable) in
computer science or a closely related area
* Experience in the field of IT security
* Practical experience in applied IT security, e.g. network security,
applied cryptography, secure software engineering or mobile platform
security
* Willingness to work independently on scientific topics
* Excellent written and spoken English
* You are a team-player who is open to new ideas, adaptable and able to
work autonomously and with a strong sense of responsibility

* Remuneration in accordance with pay grade E13 of the German
public-sector collective agreement TV-L; the salary step depends on
your qualifications and experience
