Head of Lab Development & Quality Control (m/f/d)

To further strengthen our development team we are looking for a Head of Lab «Development & Quality Control» (m/f/d) for our cold flow improver production plant in Oberhausen, Germany.
Responsibilities:
Manage laboratory for Development & Quality control, including pilot plant
Quality manager for Oberhausen site and support refinery business and laboratories outside Oberhausen in fullfilling demands of ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, and 50001
Identify, develop and implement new cold flow improver products as Innovation project leader in interdisciplinary teams
Maintain and optimize the assigned product portfolio as product manager
Support customer in product and quality related questions
Support local production in case of problems and process improvement
Requirements:
You have a university degree and a PhD in Chemistry
You have at least 3-5 years of professional experience, e.g. as a laboratory manager in the chemical industry or comparable field, ideally you have already some leadership experience
You are a trained project manager and gained ideally experinece in running projects in interdisciplinary teams
You are familiar with the requirements of common standards, such as ISO 9001 and ideally had a related training (e.g. quality manager)
You are a strong communicator and assertive team player who can interact well across hierarchy level and distances
For this position we expect business fluent English as well as very good German language skills
