Lead global product development to identify, develop and implement new and innovative Ceramides & Sphingolipids as well as their combinations and pre-formulated solutions
Lead, coach, motivate and develop the product development team, manage and monitor resources
Steer process management of the global innovation program Ceramides & Sphingolipids in Accolade: Coordinate and monitor the innovation pipeline and the stage-gate process, initiate and manage stage-gate meetings
Steer project management for selected projects (create project plans and milestones, manage project meetings, communication with the project team and relevant interfaces (global), plan and monitor resources)
Screen relevant patent landscapes (e.g. competitors, customers), secure new ideas by initiating patent writing in close collaboration with the IP department, set and implement the IP strategy
Set and coordinate claim support for new products in close collaboration with the „Skin Center“
Manage and coordinate internal and external cooperation partners and tech scouts for idea generation and foster cross-segment product developmet
Competitive watch, market observation and white space analysis
Degree in natural science (biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, chemistry, pharmacy or related disciplines)
Minimum of seven years of professional experience in product development in the cosmetics industry, ideally in the field of active ingredient, ceramide knowledge is a plus
Minimum of five years of professional experience in leading a team
Entrepreneurial, goal-oriented and strategic mindset
Strong ability to work efficiently on several topics/projects in parallel and to prioritize them
Fluent in English and German (writing, speaking)
Teamplayer with „can do attitude“
Excellent communication and cooperation skills, strategic thinking, interpersonal
