The operations team at Applied Materials ICT GmbH is looking for a result-oriented experienced Mechanical Engineer with a strong focus on metal parts design background and who has already been responsible for the NPI Engineering transition from Product Release, and for enabling robust High-Volume Manufacturing in a rapidly growing and dynamic business environment.

Are you excellent at?
NPI Program Management: managing NPI transition from development to production. Driving Operational readiness through PDP (Product Development Process)
Industrial Engineering: defining and implementing Mfg. line design, supporting workflow processes, working area standards and infrastructures
Supplier Engineering: driving suppliers from NPI to production. Leading, qualifying and maintaining suppliers‘ robust volume manufacturing capabilities and infrastructure
Manufacturing Engineering – leading Operations‘ ECOs management and implementation. Design and execution of mfg. jigs and setups
On a typical workday, you enjoy:
Working closely with R&D teams and manufacturers to ramp up manufacturing capabilities of machining and build robust production processes
Ensuring smooth transition of high complex metal parts to production floor by creating top class detailed production files
Solving complicated technical challenges and driving design improvement activities to ensure robust volume manufacturing and reliable design
Leading supplier quality assurance by managing production lines non-conformances from initiation to effective resolution
Auditing and optimizing supplier manufacturing processes to ensure flawless serial production
Identifying and managing potential quality risks associated with supplier performance, including supply chain disruptions and non-conformance issues
You’ve hit the right job ad if you are/have:
BSc/MSc in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 10 years work experience with a global multidisciplinary company
From fine-machining production proficiency
Gained mastery over machining lines
Proven expertise in serial production
Passionate mentor and enjoy growing together with a team
Fluent German as well as English
