Our client is a leading business in the field of products for the semiconductor industry. The company employs several thousand people worldwide and has a billion Euro turnover. One of its core competencies lie in the production of complex components for semiconductor equipment manufacturers around the lithography technologies DUV and EUV.
To further strengthen its leading market position and drive forward continuous growth in Europe, our client is looking for a commercial executive as

Head of Sales & Business Development Semiconductor – Europe (m/f/d).
The tasks you take on:
As Head of Sales & Business Development Semiconductor – Europe (m/f/d), you will have overall responsibility for the sales of all types of products and solutions for the Semiconductor Business Unit at several production sites.
Together with your team, you will develop the goals, strategies and concepts to achieve the sales and profit targets of the semiconductor division in Europe.
You will drive the development of the European key account strategy and align it with the global sales processes of the semiconductor business.
You will be the driving force behind new products and technological developments in your BU, which means coordinating and strengthening collaboration with key customers on technical challenges involving product management and/or technical departments.
In this role you will be a member of the European management team and report directly to the VP Global Sales of the business unit.

Your experience:
You will have a technical or commercial academic degree and a strong knowledge of the semiconductor industry with a proven track record of delivering growth with key semiconductor customers in Europe.
You will have extensive experience in selling products & solutions to lithography system equipment OEMs (EUV & DUV) and technical coordination with Sales Development, Engineering and SCM in Europe.
Ideally, you will already have an established network with the organisations like SEMI, advanced packaging companies, the Semiconductor Fabs and equipment companies like ASML, KLA, LAM, Canon, Nikon, Aixtron, etc.
You can use leverage to initiate projects or activities that lead to business opportunities.
An average level of willingness to travel within Europe and a very good knowledge of English is required. Dutch and German are an advantage.
As leader, you have an authentic and articulate demeanour, and your managerial skills enable you to assert yourself and represent the interests of your department.
You are communicative, have experience of interfaces and enjoy the operational side of implementing concepts.
An independent, structured, procedural and professional approach to work and a team player mentality complete your profile.
