Head of SW Development Team – Agile Line Manager (ALM) (m/f/d)

Your Responsibilities
You will be leading a software group of 15 to 25 Software Engineers. The group is structured in several scrum teams responsible for distinct software areas of the V93000 test system. This includes software as well as test development.
Main tasks:
Direct disciplinary management of the entire Common Instruments team
Coach and empower the scrum teams to fully deploy and live the agile practices of Scrum and SAFe
Provide orientation (Vision, Strategy and Goals) and guide the teams to live our company values (Advantest Integrity) and optimally deliver customer value
Technical guidance and coaching of the team members regarding state of the art and Advantest PM&T for SW development
Define personal development targets for your team members and support them to achieve these through coaching, delegation and training
Establish a strong feedback culture: continuous open dialog with employees
Lead by example and inspire your teams to continuously develop and improve their strengths / skills / qualities
Support knowledge sharing in the development teams and within the organization
Support and help people to resolve conflicts and overcome impediments
Close collaboration with other stakeholders (agile project roles, line managers, regional leaders etc.)
Based on product roadmap define team growth needs, manage external partners, plan budget and manage expenses
Handle vacation plan, salary increases and bonus, performance reviews

Your Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Computer science / electrical engineering Bachelor/ Master or equivalent
Minimum 4 years of experience managing cross functional teams (either disciplinary or functionally within a project)
Practical experience with agile development approaches and/or frameworks (e.g. SAFe, Scrum of Scrum, Less, …)
Experience with SW engineering concepts like: Concurrency, Reusability, Maintainability, DFT, Design
Experience in development of complex systems (SW, HW, Mechatronics) with C/C++/Java
Track record of successfully leading change especially with regards to agile transformation
Excellent communication skills in English
Result oriented, Can-do attitude, self-driven and self-motivated
Good know-how of modern development platforms and toolchains (e.g. Git, Jira, CI/CD etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:
Understanding of ATE business
Good understanding of IC Technologies
V93000 system knowledge
Good German language skills
