After completion of the INspire program you will continue your career in the following business area: MP/P is responsible for the purchasing and supplier quality of all powertrain components including the electric drive systems and batteries, as well as project management of all engines, transmissions, electric drive systems and batteries for Mercedes-Benz Cars, AMG and Vans.
We are responsible for the successful transformation of our company towards our suppliers and ensure the long-term success of the company in a challenging market environment. We oversee strategic, innovative and international contract awards in areas such as electric drives, batteries and powertrain components. This gives us a significant influence on the strategic direction of our company. Together with our internal and external partners, we ensure the quality of our purchased parts along the entire product life cycle and ensure industrialization and ramp-ups of our production.
Mandatory requirements to get IN for INspire:
Professionals with first leadership experience and relevant work experience in the field purchasing or supplier quality/industrialization and leadership experience in various areas of at least 12 months
International experience of at least 6 months
Excellent academic university degree in technical or business related subjects
Ability to communicate with different management levels
Fluent in Business English and good German skills
Significant agile mindset
Impressive social engagement
Extended digital know-how
High level of abstraction and strategic analytical skills
Working flexible, structured and result-oriented even under pressure
Confident and convincing demeanor towards internal and external negotiation partners
