For our Business Area CENTRAL EUROPE (Austria, Germany, Switzerland) with regional Headquarter based in Rottenburg / Neckar (Germany) we’re seeking for an

IN HOUSE REGIONAL COUNSEL (All gender) / VOLLJURIST (m/w/d)

Ihre Tätigkeit:

Within an international (Europe-based) and cross-functional team of more than ten colleagues with whom you will remotely collaborate, you will act as sole regional legal counsel for Central Europe (Austria, Germany, Switzerland).
You will advise SOMFY Group entities within your region by positioning yourself as a business partner supporting daily operations (sales, procurement, insurance, company law, real estate, privacy etc.) and will ensure compliance of their B to B and B to C activities across Central Europe.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
You draft, negotiate, validate contracts in a multi-brand and multi-channel context: partnerships (consortia, selective distribution, distribution), sales of products and services (GTC’s, sales agreements), marketing operations, purchases of goods (suppliers, subcontractors, partnerships) and services (software license (SAAS, on-premise), integration, maintenance, transport, communication, marketing etc.)
You contribute to the adaptation of group framework contracts and tools to implement them and help develop the group’s contract policy within your area
You provide legal advice on company law, commercial law (pricing policy, unfair competition etc.) and privacy law
You contribute to the development of the group’s employees by setting up training and / or operational tools adapted to the challenges and contexts (confidentiality, unfair competition, Relations Suppliers / Distributors..)
You manage pre-litigation, litigation and claims (expert, customer claims etc.) in collaboration with external specialists (law firms, experts etc.)

You will report to the Group’s Legal Director based in France.

Ihr Profil:

With a higher legal education, you already gained relevant experience in a similar position within industry ideally in an international environment.
You have a strong expertise in business and commercial law, including European consumer law.
You are able to analyze multiple business situations with efficiency and pragmatism, as well as synthesize and make accessible your analysis.
You naturally work in a network, with a multitude of stakeholders, in global organizations.
You are known for your team spirit, your collaborative work and your ability to anticipate and prioritize.
You know how to co-build pragmatic solutions, in different legal and cultural universes, in amicable and contentious contexts.
You like to learn and transmit.
You are fluent in German (native) and in English and can discuss, draft and negotiate in that languages efficiently.
Command of Office 365 (Teams, Sharepoint, Excel, Word) is required.
Occasional travels are to be expected in the region but also in France.
