You will be part of a newly formed innovation team affiliated with the Coppenrath Innovation Center in Osnabrück. We are seeking creative technologists to incubate ideas and accelerate new product development across all of our existing and potential markets.

You will be part of a newly formed innovation team affiliated with the Coppenrath Innovation Center in Osnabrück. We are seeking creative technologists to incubate ideas and accelerate new product development across all of our existing and potential markets.
Innovation Scientist
Tasks:
Seek out and develop innovative new products, services and business models that may diverge from current HARTING offerings and provide significant upside potential for value creation
Identify, collaborate and partner with strategic partners, research institutions and other companies
Develop prototypes with increasing maturity level
Scan and scout new technologies to pursue innovative approaches and applications
Investigate, propose and develop disruptive products and services which can create new business models and value streams
Communicate results and opportunities to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Manage projects with multiple levels of complexity that may require collaboration across regional and international teams
Your skills:
Master’s degree or PhD in a technical direction
Passionate and open-minded personality with an entrepreneurial mindset: you are a «maker»
Enthusiast about technology with high interest and proven record of expertise in at least two of the following areas: agricultural technology, artificial intelligence, machine learning, software engineering, connectors, ISOBUS, signal integrity, IoT
Experience in new product development advantageous
Desire to work in an international cross-functional team
Outstanding critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Thorough understanding of the fundamental scientific process and engineering principles
Very good verbal and written communication skills
