Our Trainee Program is all about the best start for your career, which future we see within TenneT. Our recipe for learning about Tennet, the world of Energy and yourself better is as following.
Active involvement – We offer you an 18-month, individually designed entry and development program. Together with you, we plan your stations in three different departments across locations, departments and countries and set individual priorities together with you.
Impact -During your time as a trainee, you will take on responsible tasks within the framework of your respective station, e.g. support in the development of new asset technologies, shape and steer future maintenance and grid expansion projects. Working on asset-related strategies and policies at the asset portfolio level is also part of your job description.
Exciting rotation – Due to the different stations you will get a comprehensive insight into our operational business and can build up a large personal transnational network. An assignment of several months at our main locations in Arnhem (Netherlands) and Bayreuth (Germany) as well as further locations in both countries are possible.
Growing together – We not only look at which learning opportunities can be used in the individual tasks, but also offer comprehensive training for personal development. You can rely on your development partner from the people unit, on your project partners in the business and especially on the trainee group itself.
Your profile and background
You have successfully completed a technical related university degree (FH/Uni) in electrical engineering, energy science or comparable
You have preferably already gained initial experience with vocational training, relevant internships or working student activities
You are open to new experiences and curious to get to know the diverse aspects of TenneT in working on matters of Asset Technologies, Asset Portfolio and Asset Data Management
You speak fluent German and English and you are looking forward to working in your i nternational team
You like spending each station at a different TenneT location in Germany or the Netherlands and you are willing to travel
