We are looking for ambitious young professionals who can face challenges in a transformational environment.
After completion of the Inspire programme you will continue your career in the following business area Procurement of strategic relevant Raw Materials with a strong focus on availability, sustainability and competitive pricing structures. Market relevant and geopolitical factors have a determined impact and have to be strongly monitored in the necessary activities.
Another option to continue your professional career is to work on sustainable supply chains. Within the team «Sustainability in the Supply Chain» we develop and implement strategies and processes to achieve the targets of our sustainable business strategy. In detail this means:

We develop measures in consideration of national and international regulatory requirements and stakeholder consultations
We analyze critical raw materials and derive measures to address human rights and environmental risks in Mercedes-Benz specific supply chains
We support departments in discussions or negotiations with external partners on our Responsible Sourcing Standards and other requirements for suppliers
We represent Mercedes-Benz interests in industry/cross-industry working groups on climate protection, human rights and raw materials
We work in cross-functional teams inside and outside Mercedes-Benz

Within our departments, we attach great importance to team spirit, regular exchange and collegial communication. You will quickly take over responsibility for your own projects.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Junior Professionals with relevant work experience of at least 12 months in the field of procurement or sustainability and first leadership experience or leadership ambitions
International experience of at least 6 months
Excellent academic university degree in Master in mineralogy, geology, chemistry and sustainability.
Extended digital know-how
Significant agile mindset
Hands-on mentality and can-do attitude
Ability to quickly adapt to new situations
Coordinating and managing projects with high complexity
Solution-oriented and communicative nature
Social engagement
Fluent in Business English and basic German language skills
High level of abstraction and strategic analytical skills for complex contract creation and negotiations
Working flexible, structured and result-oriented even under pressure
Ability to think out of the box and create new ideas to innovate existing business models
Empathic leadership skills to navigate and lead cross functional working groups
Personal drive to accept the challenge, step into the unknown and create new ways and processes to guide Mercedes-Benz through the transformation
