YOUR ROLE
Be in charge of all tax questions in connection with international acquisition and divestment projects
Manage tax due diligences independently
Conduct contract reviews for all deal related agreements, such as SPA/APA, licenses, loans, TSAs etc. and carry out tax negotiations with the sell/buy side
Engage and manage external tax advisors
Align all tax relevant deal topics wIth various Henkel internal stakeholders, e.g. Corp. M&A, Legal, Controlling, Accounting, Treasury, Real Estate
Present projects within the tax department as well as in the internal decision making bodies up to board level and towards tax authorities
Manage integration projects for newly acquired targets
YOUR SKILLS
University degree in Business Administration/Economics or Law with focus on Taxation
Minimum of at least 4 years of relevant work experience with a consulting company and/or international corporate tax departments is required
German tax advisor exam or strong motivation to take the exam
Experience with M&A tax and international taxation is a must, experience with real estate transfer tax and Sec. 50a German ITA is a plus
Work experience abroad is a plus
Agility and openness for innovative ways of working
Highly motivated and passionate team player
Fluent English language skills (spoken and written) is a must
