The company employs several hundred employees in numerous branches around the world and is part of an international group of companies. For the further expansion of the business in China we are looking for you in the Shanghai area as
Managing Director (m/f/d) – China
Tasks
Full P&L responsibility for all sales and marketing activities in China
Providing positive and dynamic leadership to a team of 10+ employees
Strategically developing the business and implementing sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue and increase brand awareness
Develop and execute a strategy to set up a local production
Manage and further deepen the relations with the most important key accounts
Staffing and personnel development
Effective cooperation with the HQ
Defining mid- and long-term business plans for the region
Direct reporting to the MD/ Board in Germany
Requirements
BSc/BA in business administration or a similar field or technical degree
Several years of experience as a sales manager in the connectivity industry, electrical engineering, or automation
Experience with leading a manufacturing unit desirable
Good knowledge of key markets (communications, engineering, automation, rail/transportation, etc.)
Strong understanding of commercial processes (finance and performance measurement)
Excellent organizational and leadership, as well as communication and presentation skills
Languages: Mandarin and English
