Job description
Full P&L responsibility for all sales and marketing activities in India
Providing positive and dynamic leadership to a team of 50 employees

Take hands-on leadership role in further developing the business within the existing markets and into new markets

Growing market share of current business relations with emphasis on solution sales and industry 4.0 applications

Expansion of key markets such as railway, machine building & robotics, automation, e-mobility as well as identification of new business opportunities

Staffing and personnel development

Effective cooperation with the local production facility

Defining mid- and long-term business plans for the region

Direct reporting line to VP APAC and to the German HQ

Technical degree; MBA would be a plus
Sound leadership experience in General / Sales Management roles, preferably incl. P&L responsibility

Good knowledge in the field of automation industry, electrical engineering, electronics or electromechanical components for the industry

Entrepreneurial, result-driven personality with conceptual strength

Excellent communication along with strong analytical skills

Cooperative and motivational leadership style

Very good skills in English

Trustworthy person living in close proximity to Chennai
