Our client is a Germany based internationally operating market leader of fire prevention equipment and measuring systems and solutions for the wood processing industry and many other applications. The company has been successfully growing their business in Southeast Asia and subsequently founded an independent subsidiary in Thailand nearly a decade ago. The company is especially well known as a technology pioneer with a highly reputed product portfolio. For the further expansion of their business in Thailand and Southeast Asia based out of the subsidiary in the greater Bangkok area, our client is looking for you as a Managing Director (m/f/d) Thailand.

Job description
Full P&L responsibility for the entire business in Thailand
Managing, developing, and expansion of the local team
Analysing and developing of the South-East Asian markets and identifying new potential applications and segments
Developing and implementing the growth strategy for sales, service, and marketing
Increasing market share in the various target industries, including wood processing, agribusiness, food, pulp and paper, metal processing, and others
Identifying, acquiring, and supporting new customers in the respective markets
Managing important accounts personally to achieve further expansion
Expanding direct sales as well as distribution / partner channel sales
Further improvement of internal processes and workflows
Reporting to the MD of the headquarter in Germany

Requirements
Degree in engineering or business administration, MBA preferred
Sound experience in general management or senior leadership positions with strong focus on sales of technical components, systems and services
Leadership experience in an international, industrial company in Thailand, ideally in a German or Western company
Good market knowledge in relevant markets, e.g. wood based panels, food, etc.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Entrepreneurial and passionate sales-personality with conceptual strength
Very strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Thai and English on a business fluent level
