Electric mobility, artificial intelligence, the digital transformation, and autonomous driving will radically change the relationship between humans and cars. To shape this relationship, our UX teams work hard on new interaction concepts that reach beyond screens and incorporate multi-modal interactions. We accelerate the design process, by building the tools used throughout the organization to bring UX concepts to live. From the headquarters in Sindelfingen together with our hubs in Beijing, Berlin, and Silicon Valley, we provide tailor-made software as well as innovative new hardware platforms, that enable our UX teams to prototype and evaluate how we will interact with future generations of the most desirable cars.

You will master these tasks:

Develop in-house software used by relevant stakeholders for prototyping
Integrate new HW technologies in our technology stack, enabling our UX teams to leverage them in their ideas
Provide technical support – from onboarding to complex problem-solving – for users of our tools and hardware platforms
Keep our hardware platforms, running, tidy, and up to date, to allow seamless usage by our UX teams
Apply modern SW development methods and technology

Qualifikationen

What you bring to the table: mit:
Completed studies in computer science, electrical engineering, or similar
Several years of experience in SW/HW engineering for automotive or comparable field
Strong programming skills in relevant languages (JavaScript, Python, C++, etc.)
Experience with UI frameworks and web technologies (Electron, React, HTML, CSS, etc.)
Experience in automotive communications (Autosar, CAN, LIN, etc.) and ECUs
Experience in agile development methods, DevOps, and CI/CD
Experience with modern SW architecture patterns
Experience in HW maintenance and prototyping
International experience / intercultural experience desirable
Fluent in English and German

Willingness for continuous learning
Strong target orientation with a high degree of initiative and motivation
Pragmatic problem solving
High affinity for all kinds of user interfaces
