MS Azure BI Data Engineer m/f/d
Your Responsibilities
Global IT are looking for a Microsoft Azure BI Data Engineer responsible for the data infrastructure used in providing Power BI Dashbaords and Reporting, in Advantest, in working closely with the IT and Business Reporting Leads.
Responsibilities include:
Translate Reporting needs into technical specifications.
Design, build and deploy the BI infrastructure; Azure Data Factory (ADF), Data Bricks, Data Warehouses, Synapse Analytics, Reporting tools (PowerBI, OBIEE, …etc.)
Maintain and support data analytics platforms in MS Azure
Create tools to store data (e.g. Data Lake, Data Warehousing)
Collaborate with teams to evaluate and improve existing BI systems.
Can lead the BI integrations, systems and data.
Evaluate existing data-collecting and analytics systems
Develop and execute database queries and conduct analysis
Build predictive models and machine-learning algorithms
Analyze big data to discover trends and patterns
Establish procedures for data sharing with internal and external stakeholders
Ensure we use accurate and secure methods to extract data
Use data visualization techniques to present information
Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting
Develop and update technical documentation
Your Qualifications
Bachelors or master’s degree in business administration or equivalent education and experience
5+ Years expereince, and proven experience as a BI Data Engineer
Industry experience is preferred
Background in data warehouse design (e.g. dimensional modeling) and data mining
In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform) framework
Knowledge of Oracle SOA (Service Orientated Architecture) is preferred
Familiarity with BI technologies (e.g. Microsoft Power BI, Oracle BI) and data processing frameworks (like Data Factory)
Knowledge of SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Service (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
Proven abilities to take the initiative and be innovative.
Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude
Experience as a BI Consultant, Data Scientist, or similar role
Strong skills in statistics and reporting
Very good English communication skills
Capable and good team player
Understand and experienced Oracle EBS (E-Business Suit) Applications and data structure
Experience with Project Management techniques and associated tools
Good self-management and coordination skills
Ability to work with people across different countries, cultures and at different levels within the company.
Good communication and presentation skills
Flexible working hours in working remotely and on-site
Willing to travel internationally.
Good English language skills
