Clariant is looking for an experienced OT Engineer who is passionate to automation, OT/IT Network and enthusiastic for OT Cybersecurity topics. Our OT systems typically consist of the central process control system with data historians and interfaces to PIM-, LIM- or Manufacturing Execution Systems. While defining, building, and maintaining OT Cybersecurity of these systems, you are the interface within the Business Unit to our local, regional, or global IT/OT organizations to provide competence to site team during projects and for general problem-solving.
To further build up our team, we are looking for a OT Security Engineer (m/f/d) at our Munich Office. You bring your passion about technology and innovation as well as your automation OT/IT engineering expertise to address challenges that arise in our process innovation, production facilities and investment projects mainly in the area of environmental technologies. You work closely together with other automation and process experts and the engineering teams on sites globally, to drive the development of innovative, sustainable processes and products. With your engagement, you contribute to shape Clariant’s transformation towards a net-zero emission company. Together with your project team, you will identify and implement state-of-the-art technologies that address upcoming challenges and ensure the long-term competitiveness of our production facilities. In this endeavor, you collaborate closely with academia, research organizations, expert networks, and vendors.
Definition, realization and implementation of group-wide standard processes, procedures, and technologies in Automation and OT area.
Development and execution together with site teams‘ cyber security procedures to maintain OT/IT Cybersecurity compliance.
Management of OT/IT security risk situation at assigned sites and overview remediation measures.
Interaction with local, regional, or global IT, OT experts at sites, external vendors, and IT Cybersecurity team for best practice solutions of incident response.
Carry out of internal OT assessments and audits at the sites.
Have an overview of implemented security measures and documented non-compliance to information security requirements.
Support local OT teams focusing on patching, antivirus, backup & restore, and asset inventory controls.
Support and perform instrument to production or lab system connectivity design and execution.
University degree or comparable experiences in the field of automation, industrial IT, cyber security, IT with a specialization in cyber security, automation or comparable.
+5 years of professional experience in OT security (design, implementation, and operation) in an industrial environment.
Advanced knowledge in OT systems and their orchestration such as DCS, PLC, SIS, Edge, HMI, IoT and IIoT, etc.
Cybersecurity certifications e.g., IEC 62443, CISSP, GICSP, CISA are beneficial.
Strong stakeholder management, communication, and organizational skills.
Collaboration and teamwork with multidisciplinary teams (IT and others) to ensure seamless integration of different systems and technologies.
Fluent in English and German. Other languages are of advantage.
