Quality Control Manager (f/m/d)
Location/Division Specific Information
Patheon Regensburg is a cGMP production site, focused on custom manufacturing of investigational materials for pre-clinical and clinical studies. The size of the site offers a familiar, friendly and collegiate atmosphere that specializes in the combined strengths of high-end R&D and production.
Support the process development and production of active pharmaceutical ingredients in all analytical and QC aspects. The key point is to ensure the analytical testing of all raw materials, intermediate and end products, including in-process controls.
A day in the Life:
Development and documentation of analytical methods
Creation and maintenance of regulations relevant for quality control, such as analytical methods, test regulations, SOPs
Validation of analytical methods
Ensuring the qualification of analytical equipment
Ensuring the correct execution, evaluation, documentation and control of test results
Creation of certificates of analysis
Support/consulting of process development in all analytical aspects
Partnership with production, technology, safety and personnel managers
Keys to Success:
Education
Academic degree (preferrably PhD) in organic chemistry, chemical engineering, or similar education
Experience
Practical experience in instrumental analysis in organic or pharmaceutical chemistry
Ideally experience in a regulated environment
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Careful, reliable work
Organizational skills
Analytical and technical understanding
Assertiveness and ability to work under pressure
Teamplayer approach
Very good skills in German and English (verbal and written)
