Your responsibilities

You create system architectures and concepts for automotive embedded SW systems, considering standards like ISO 26262 (Functional Safety) and ISO 21434 (Cyber Security).
You act as the engineering link between the customer and the project team by creating and eliciting technical requirements for a Linux distribution.
You assess them regarding risks, quality, contained business opportunities, development efforts and priorities and ensure their traceability. 
You coordinate the Software-architecture with all stakeholders and collaborate with function owners, developers, functional safety, and cyber security experts to find the best architectural solutions.
You support the creation and maintenance of processes regarding all facets of Systems Engineering and Requirements Engineering.
You apply methods like MBSE or Harmony-Software (model-based systems engineering) into existing processes. 
You develop a model-based approach for requirements-development and elicitation for complex Software-systems with Software from various provenances .
You develop strategies for end-to-end integration verification and validation of complex Software-systems with Software from various provenances.

Your profile

 You have a degree in computer science, electrical engineering, communication technology or a comparable subject. A PhD is an advantage.
You have at several years of experience in systems- or software-engineering, specifically in the domains of architecture and requirements engineering.
You are highly familiar with automotive methods and processes, such as ASPICE and ISO/ IEC 15288.
You are familiar with SCRUM and SAFe.
You are familiar with technologies such as virtualization, high performance computing and cloud computing.
You are familiar with programming languages C and C++.
You communicate effectively with all stakeholders ranging from experts at customers over Elektrobit development teams up to management level.
You take technical leadership and initiative to drive your innovative ideas to solutions. You look for the big picture and are open minded and eager to learn.
You enjoy working in an international environment and have good communication skills in English (both spoken and written). German is a plus.
