Senior Project Manager (m/f/d) Financing and Sales – Canada
Join the Finance and Sales team for Canada out of our Wiesbaden office and pursue our goals for a successful energy transition together with us. We are working closely with our growing business development teams in Calgary and Halifax on our ambitious pipeline of large-scale renewable energy projects, including wind, solar, battery and green hydrogen projects. Based on your experience you will be able to consider all commercial and economic aspects of our projects, advance our local and international partnerships, and ensure a successful sale and after sales process. Each project has its own challenges, and with endurance and creativity, we love to find solutions to successfully realize our projects.
Your passion
Development and negotiation of Project contracts with local stakeholders, cooperation partners and our technical and financial counterparties
Arranging and structuring debt and equity financings for wind, solar, storage and hydrogen projects in Canada
Build co-operations and relationships in the energy and finance sector
Review power purchase agreements and tenders, and support the team in bidding processes
Develop and maintain financial models
Work closely together interdisciplinary and in international teams with our local development team and the German headquarters
Your qualification
Min. 5 years of professional experience in financing and sales of renewable energy projects, project agreements and energy markets
Business fluency in English required, German and other languages are an advantage
Academic degree, preferably in Economics/Business Administration or similar
Willing to work independently, think entrepreneurially and in a team
