(Senior) Software Architect – Energy Saving Solutions (*)
Your responsibilities
We are currently seeking an experienced Software Architect to join our talented team at ista SE. As a Software Architect, you will lead the design and implementation of software solutions using Java with Spring Boot, Angular, Ionic Framework, Kubernetes, and Azure (to name a few). You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to create efficient and scalable architectural designs that align with ista’s vision and technology strategy. In detail:
Work closely with stakeholders, including product owners and development teams to understand business requirements and translate them into architectural designs.
Design and implement scalable software solutions using Java with Spring Boot, Angular, Ionic Framework, Kubernetes, and Azure.
Define and enforce architectural standards, best practices, and coding guidelines to ensure high-quality and maintainable software.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Conduct architectural reviews and provide recommendations for performance optimization, scalability, and security.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential integration into ista’s software architecture.
Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployment, continuous integration, and delivery processes.
Participate in the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
Your background
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Software Architect, with a strong focus on modern web technologies.
Solid understanding of software architecture patterns, design principles, and best practices.
Extensive hands-on experience in Java development and Spring Boot framework.
Proficiency in front-end technologies like Angular and Ionic Framework is a plus.
Experience with containerization using Kubernetes and deployment on Azure cloud platform.
Strong knowledge of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to address complex technical challenges.
Effective communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to work effectively in a team environment.
