Sustainability Audit Specialist (m/f/d)

For our Care Chemicals Business Unit in Frankfurt or Muttenz.

To support our Care Chemicals business unit, we are looking for a qualified and experienced Sustainability Audit Specialist (m/f/d) for our Sustainability Transformation department at the Innovation Center in the Frankfurt/Höchst Industrial Park or in Muttenz, Switzerland.

Responsibilities:

You coordinate Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil governance for the EMEA region, including compliance and certification related activities, especially planning, preparation, execution and follow up of RSPO audits; implementing and maintaining RSPO relevant documents
You implement the No-Deforestation No-Peat No-Exploitation (NDPE) mechanism globally, design the process for potential grievance cases, and follow up with customers and suppliers accordingly
You provide Ecolabel guidance and initiate Ecolabel certification for specific products including communication with stakeholders, e.g. marketing / sales
You plan and execute PVP (Portfolio Value Program) screening related activities (including EcoTain applications) and support the business stakeholders in building the roadmap to steer the portfolio towards sustainable products
You will lead sustainability related work streams within customer/segment specific projects
You respond to customer sustainability questionnaires and surveys and coordinate with several stakeholders within the company
You are in contact with considerable sustainability organizations and initiatives e.g. ASD (Action for Sustainable Derivatives) for continious education

Requirements:

You have completed a master’s degree in the field of chemistry, chemical engineering or similar
You have about 3-5 years of professional experience, preferably in the chemical industry
Ideally, you already have experience in the area of sustainability
You can rely on your project management skills – you are especially familiar with structured work, monitoring and adherence to timelines and coordination with other functions and stakeholders
You are able to adapt quickly to new conditions and have an above-average willingness to learn
You bring outstanding communication skills and the ability to train / educate peers on sustainability related topics
You are an analytical and results-oriented personality
You have the ability to work in a small core team and in diverse (virtual) teams with people across organizational boundaries and across several countries/regions
You have business fluent English and very good German skills (written and oral)
