Test Automation Engineer (m/f/d)
Your Responsibilities
Lead the development of new test programs on system as well as on integration level to ensure the quality of the next generation Advantest products in close cooperation with our software development teams
Lead the development of a custom coverage analysis solution on system level for the V93000 platform
Analyze existing manual regression tests and implement solutions for the transformation to fully automated regression tests
Implement solutions to automatically report and visualize test results to improve transparency of test execution on all layers
Implement automation solutions to enable continuous code quality metrics and coverage data generation
Coach and support other test engineers with respect to state-of-the-art software development and test automation practices and technologies
Continuously improve, adapt, and enhance our approach to test automation
Your Qualifications
Bachelor/master’s degree in computer science or a related field
Minimum 2 years industry experience in software development, preferably in software development and testing in technical environment
Very good knowledge of C/C++ and Java
Very good knowledge developing Python based automation solutions
Good knowledge using scripting languages like Linux shell (e.g. Bash) or Ruby for automation purposes
Good knowledge in interacting with database systems (SQL, NoSQL), webservices (REST)
Good knowledge applying and using container technologies like Docker or Kubernetes for packaging and deployment
Good knowledge of Git as source-control management tool
Passion for agile methods, automation, quality, and transparency
Very good communication skills in English
Intercultural understanding and communication capabilities, experience in working with teams abroad
Preferred Qualification:
Good knowledge of integration and build tools like Bazel, Jenkins etc.
Good knowledge of automated UI testing tools like QF-Test, Squish, etc.
Experience working in agile environments using Scrum, SAFe, etc.
Experience in regulated environments (e.g. automotive, medical, aerospace)
German and/or Chinese language skills
